Claire was born in Surrey, UK, and began acting at a young age, landing her first professional role in the Dutch national production of the musical Annie in 1995. After completing her university studies in the Netherlands, she went on to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Having grown up between the UK and the Netherlands, Claire is bilingual in English and Dutch.

 

Since graduating from drama school in 2009, Claire has performed with numerous theatre companies and productions. In 2014–2015, she played young Emilie in the Dutch national tour of War Horse, one of the most acclaimed theatre productions worldwide. She is currently performing in her new theatre show Prins Gezocht! in the Netherlands.

 

Claire recently completed work on Dutch TV series Brugklas, British series Bookish and Pride and Prejudice. She also plays a key supporting role in the new Dutch TV series Flying Hummelo, which premiered at Cinekid Festival 2025 and has a new episode dropping weekly on NPO Zapp. Other screen credits include roles in Dutch TV series such as Laura H (Gouden Kalf nominee, 2024), Flikken Maastricht, Dertigers and Broodje Aap, as well as UK productions Patience and Professor T. She played one of the lead roles in the international hit series Mia and Me, broadcast in over 170 countries, and starred in H3L, winner of the Televizier-Ster Jeugd award in 2024.

Her film work includes leading and supporting roles in both short and feature-length projects, including It’s a Sign and Mama’s Geheim (both official selections at Cinekid Festival 2024), Pink Moon (Gouden Kalf nominee, 2022), and cinema feature Mr and Mrs Aslan.​
